Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno confirms that one of the GSU officers was stabbed and wounded on the head and hand before he shot the assailant dead.

"The assailant came running to the entrance with the knife before stabbing the officer on the head and hand.” He said “The officer had no option other than to shoot him. We don't know the man’s motive," added Mr. Otieno. More updates on the same will be communicated
