Araweelo's monologue
in the past, married women in Somalia used to live in fear of their husbands and not because it was a promised "heaven" but domestic violence was on the increase and then it took one courageous woman who said enough, she went and trained herself for lethal combat to finally step up to the men and her name was Araweelo, later crowned as Queen Araweelo by other women who supported her on her quest to abolish domestic violence amongst women. unfortunately her death was planned by of course a man few years later. but her legacy lives on and on.
